How Selection Works
A light, counselor-led process that puts local knowledge first

COUNSELORS NOMINATE
Each of the three schools' college & career counselors nominates 2–3 graduating seniors — not necessarily top GPA, but students whose trajectory they believe in.

STUDENTS APPLY
Nominated students submit a personal statement, brief financial context, and one letter of recommendation.

COMITTEE SELECTS
A selection committee reviews applications against a simple rubric — keeping the process fair, documented, and independent.

SCHOLAR & MENTOR
The scholarship is paid directly to the student's college, and the sponsoring donor begins a mentoring relationship.
